Paramahamsa Vishwananda is a satguru (a Sanskrit term meaning “true teacher”, that is, someone who lives the truth he teaches and guides others towards it) and the founder of Bhakti Marga, an international community of practitioners with members in more than 80 countries
Darshan with Paramahamsa Vishwananda is a rare, direct and personal blessing from a "True Master". In that sacred instant, the veil is lifted and it becomes possible to perceive the Divine Love and Grace that are already present within and around us.
A single moment can have a profound impact on the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
People who have received Darshan describe a deep awakening of the heart, an unconditional love and an acceptance of Life that they had never felt before. You may join the singing, sit in silence or connect with other seekers over a cup of tea. Every moment prepares your heart for the blessing of Darshan.

Darshan
The Darshan begins with a collective blessing from Paramahamsa Vishwananda. He will invite you to close your eyes, go to the depths of the heart and offer a personal prayer or intention. Afterwards, by sections, you will receive your personal blessing. During that time the hall resonates with devotional music and Vedic chanting — you may sing, dance or sit in silence while you wait your turn.

Each one is a unique and sacred moment between you and the Divine. Some experience an inner transformation, others find healing, and others feel an overwhelming sense of love and acceptance. Sometimes, they feel nothing at all.
What remains constant in every darshan is the sharing of unconditional Divine Love.

These are some of the things you could do, but they are not required.
You may write a personal question on a small piece of paper and give it to Paramahamsa Vishwananda. There is no expectation of a written reply; the practice is in the act of offering the question.
Many people come with something in mind — a difficulty, a hope, an open question. There is no script. The meeting is brief and, for most people, in silence.
In the tradition, it is customary to bring a photograph of someone (a family member, a friend, someone who is ill) and to ask for a brief blessing in their name. Many people do this for their parents or their children.
There is no need to say anything, ask for anything or understand anything. Simply being there is already enough. No previous experience of meditation or knowledge of the tradition is required. Darshan is open to anyone, regardless of their faith or beliefs.
It is recommended that you arrive a few minutes early so that you can register at ease, sit down, breathe, join the kirtan singing beforehand and be present before the meeting. Comfortable and modest clothing is recommended.

Darshan is a joyful and festive event. We recommend modest and comfortable clothing that respects the sacred character of the moment. If you are wearing a sleeveless top, we ask that you bring a shawl or sarong to cover your shoulders when receiving the blessing.
Yes. Hotel Beatriz Costa & Spa is accessible. People with reduced mobility and their companions will, as a courtesy, be seated in a reserved area near the Master. If you need assistance during the event, write to us beforehand so that we can arrange it.
Yes. You may bring books, photographs, murtis (deities) or malas. We will also have items available in our shop. Hand them to a volunteer before you receive Darshan.
The start of the event, including Guruji’s collective blessing, will be livestreamed on YouTube. It is a beautiful way to receive Darshan and feel the energy from wherever you are.
