Atma Kriya Yoga is absolutely unique. Although the techniques quiet the mind, the spiritual aim is to awaken the soul to its eternal relationship with God by cultivating various forms of bhakti: love and devotion.
As your practice deepens, divine qualities naturally begin to manifest: peace, self-control, strength, wisdom, humility, compassion, vitality, and more.
Through the grace of the Shaktipat Initiation, the techniques are simple enough for beginners to learn, yet powerful enough to carry even the most advanced meditators to new heights of divine connection.

The Atma Kriya weekend with Swamini VishwaPratibha is right around the corner and we wanted to share some last minute details with you to help you navigate the weekend.The course will begin on Friday January 27th, evening at 6 pm. There will be an Om Chanting followed by the introduction to the course. This will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions to best prepare yourself for the weekend. Manuals for the course will also be provided to you on this day and you will be referring to them throughout the weekend so don’t forget to bring them back with you! These are for you to keep and you will find them extremely useful to refer back to after you have completed the course.On Saturday, January 28th the course will run from 9am – 5pm. There will be breaks provided in between including a lunch break. Lunch will be provided and donations are welcome for this. The lunch will be an Indian vegetarian meal consisting of rice, lentils and a chickpeas curry provided on a donation basis. You are also most welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer or have any dietary restrictions. Please bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you prefer to sit on one as there are various yoga positions that you will need to perform. Please also wear some loose clothing as you will be active!On Sunday the final Shaktipat will be given by Swamini and this will run from 9am -11am followed by our usual Sunday morning prayers at the temple which you are most welcome to attend!On Sunday afternoon from 2pm Swamini will be giving people an opportunity to take part in a Simple Puja course. This is a great way to learn how to deepen our relationship with the Divine through deity worship. If this is something you would like to take part in please register through the website or speak to Swamini directly when you see her.All events will be taking place at the Srimati Radharani Temple in Pickering.
